Always use penny sleeves and top loaders immediately after pulling valuable cards. This prevents surface scratches, edge wear, and corner dings that can significantly lower a card’s grade and value. For higher-end cards, consider semi-rigid holders or even magnetic cases. Protecting cards right away not only preserves condition but also increases long-term resale potential.
