November Sets to Collect: Topps Basketball lands Nov 5 and More

Dybantsa and Wilson rookies, the cheapest boxes still open, Pokémon's November drops, and the card shows worth the trip.

October 29, 2026

Hobby Hype is back, just in time for the holiday season. And the next few weeks are packed 🔥

We are going for a simpler focus on

  • what's dropping,

  • where you can still preorder it

  • which card shows are worth the trip.

In this issue, that means 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball and its loaded rookie class, a busy run of Pokémon releases, and five card shows between early November and mid-December.

💡 Card Collecting Tip:

Before you lock in a presale, read the product page for the ship date and the store's refund terms, because they vary a lot from shop to shop. For this Flagship release, Kollectible Kings says its boxes ship by Nov 5 but takes no returns or refunds, while Dave & Adam's will refund the difference if it lowers its presell price, as long as you ask.
